Early stoneware canister crocks similar to this one are not commonly found and can still be used for multiple kitchen uses such as a cachepot or utensil holder. In cylinder form, it stands 5 3/8” inches tall with a generous 4 ¼’ inch top opening with an embossed floral design on back with an all-over weave pattern. Although missing its lid and showing its age, this stoneware jar which once held raisins, will add some unique, old country charm to your kitchen.

<p style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto;
